The games that it can comply with, are truly enhanced, with this item. So much more immersive and I did not think that possible. In game’ holding the weapon of choice in front of yourself and being able to lean down to take a look through the sights. As a young whipper Snapper (sad but true. I am nearly 60), playing Doom and such like. This would have seamed to be an unreal possibility. I am like a child and thoroughly enjoy being so. I would recommend that anyone with this game system and compatible game/s, to purchase one.

I have got tired of buying my son new headsets every few months as they have invariably developed faults, especially the microphones. After reading lots of reviews I bought these. They are excellent quality and have so far been easily the best headsets we have bought. Apparently all the kids ‘in the know’ have these. Just wish I had known about them earlier. Do shop around though as the prices can vary quite a lot. Recommend strongly.

Edit Jan 2019 – now almost 2 years down the line and still going strong. Also been using the shifter for a while so I’ll add a short review of that at the endEdit Jan 2020 – now 3 years later and it’s still working perfectly, not really run into any new issues that I can think of so still very much recommended————–I’ve held off on reviewing this because I wanted to give it a proper testing, and I’ve now been using this pretty heavily for a year (largely drifting on Assetto Corsa with some racing here and there, so it’s gone through some pretty strenuous testing), and it’s so far held up almost perfectly (more on that in a moment). I upgraded from a DFGT, and the FFB is a huge improvement from that, and having a clutch is a huge advantage. I would have liked a few more buttons though, the G29 is much more similar to the DFGT in terms of buttons but I chose this one because it looks less like a toy. Also, I really miss the stick shifter from the DFGT, it sucked as a shifter but it made a great hand brake so it would have been nice to see it return on this. The biggest problem I encountered is one I’ve seen a lot in the reviews, so it appears to be a fairly common fault, and that’s that after a while the wheel started to develop a squeak when turning left. It was beyond the return period for Amazon however so I decided to just stick with it, it was irritating but the wheel still worked. HOWEVER, after a little while the squeak disappeared again, and it’s now working perfectly, so my guess is it’s just brand new bearings that needed to be broken in a little. If the problem comes back then I’ll edit this, but so far so good.Another problem was the brake pedal. Some people despise the brake on this, saying it’s impossible to use, and I’ll admit that when I first got it I was basically unable to use the brakes because they were so stiff, I would press on it and my chair would just roll backwards. However, after some use (and jamming something behind the wheels of my chair, lol) the rubber bumper has softened up and I now don’t have any real problems with it, I actually like the feel of it, because the amount of pressure required increases through the travel range you quickly learn to gauge how hard you need to press the pedal, rather than just how far, so it’s a little more intuitive if you’re used to real brakes (though it’s important to note that it still doesn’t feel like a real hydraulic brake pedal, it just behaves a little more like one than a simple sprung pedal). And if you don’t like it, you can simply remove the rubber bumper and the pedals will be basically identical to the G27Another thing I noticed is that it does get a little hot when being used heavily. As I said earlier the main use it has seen has been drifting, which puts the motors under a lot more stress than usual, and I have noticed that the casing can start to become a little warm, though so far it hasn’t caused any problems, I just let it cool down for a minute or so every now and then if it’s being used heavily.Using it on Win 10 as well, I saw a few 1 star reviews saying it doesn’t work on Win 10 but I assure you that it does, and has done flawlessly for the past year. All in all, while this wheel did have a few problems, I would probably still recommend it, you could buy a cheaper wheel but they’re generally not worth it. Another decent alternative in the same price bracket is the Thrustmaster TMX Pro. Both are good choices (Edit – the TMX Pro is now pretty expensive compared to this)I also bought the shifter that you can get for this, and I have to say I’m pretty impressed with it for the price. It did initially feel a little flimsy, but after almost a year of use it still hasn’t failed at all. The amount of force required is nothing compared to a real shifter, and you obviously can’t feel when the gear doesn’t engage properly (though that is a fault common to basically every shifter), so it doesn’t feel entirely realistic, but it is so much more immersive using it, even if using the paddles is slightly faster it’s worth it for the sense of really driving the car that it gives you. For the shifter alone I would probably also give it 4 stars, with the caveat that if you want as much realism as possible then this probably isn’t for you since it does feel so light, so probably 2-3 stars for someone only concerned with realism

This should have been an all-time classic product, and was clearly intended to be. I swear the G920 wheel is better made than the one in my Mazda MX-5. It’s mainly built from leather-covered steel, and oozes quality, The force feedback is uncannily realistic – paired with a game like Forza 6 the immersion has to be experienced to be believed. One fly in the ointment alone gives the G920 4 stars instead of 5. First impressions of this wheel are that something’s wrong with the brake pedal – this is what a friend of mine – who grew up with console racing games – thought. But the product you just unboxed isn’t broken – it’s built the same way as all G920s. After much Googling it appears Logitech made the brake pedal too stiff while trying to give it a realistic amount of resistance. Some blogs advise opening the pedal assembly to remove rubber bushings but – with Forza 6 at least – the simple solution is to reduce the “outside deadzone” setting to around 70% (my thanks to RaindancerAU on the Forza forum for that). A more general solution is to change the sensitivity of the wheel using Logitech’s Windows utility. Logitech must have been aware of this design flaw from the outset but -inexplicably – didn’t document it or the workarounds in the packaging. This issue will without doubt have resulted in returns, and tarnishes the image of what I believe is one of the finest gaming peripherals of all time. Despite the drawbacks the G920_totally_ kicks ass, and I’m wiping seat from my brow as I write this. Highly recommended.

This really has helped with my PlayStation 4. It kept overheating and making a loud noise at the same time. Since I’ve been using this I’ve had none of the trouble I was having. You stand your PlayStation in the correct place and you can either turn the fan on or off. I tend to turn mine on for a while then turn it off again. I find it runs really well and as a bit of kit looks really good and modern.Aside from the fan there is also a games holder which is handy to keep your favourite games right by your console. This helps if you’re like me and are constantly looking for where you last had the game. Also helps keep things tidy and clean. Finally this stand has two controller charge docks which charge the controllers very quickly. To use the chargers it is very simple I’ve actually included a video with my review. Basically you get a chip which you plug into your controller and then you just put the controller in the dock and it will charge.Overall this is a great product it has probably given my PlayStation a bit more life. I always try to review based on price , look and quality. With that said I can safely say to give this a go if you have a PlayStation. As an all round item it gets top marks. Brilliant 😁

Great cooling stand and silent. It keeps everything organized PLUS it has little MAGNETIC dongles that fit the controllers for Magnetic charging, so you NEVER have to plugin any USB cable ever and wear out your USB ports. Only BEBONCOOL and 3 other companies on amazon offer this Magnetic charging feature, all prices pretty much the same. I personally have bought magnetic chargers for every device I own, they are extremely convenient. BTW if your PS4 makes any noise it is because the fan has accumulated an huge amount of dust. I followed the instructions below and now it is 99.9% silent. Search youtube for: CLEANING MY PS4 PRO AND FOUND A BIG SURPRISE

A great way to extend the storage on your PS4. To format it just plug into the USB port on the front of the console. It will say device is unsupported, go to settings on the console. Choose device then USB storage devices and then just format it and it’s done in a couple of minutes. Quick and easy and a great product.

I know it says XBox but wanted it for my PS4 as space was running low as presumed it would work anyway as I’ve mixed before. I bought the 8TB model and tried to set it up but even after formatting it, my PS4 refused to recognise it as extended storage. Then when I checked in the storage details, the storage capacity was listed as 8.01 TB, and the PS4 won’t recognise more than 8TB. I have since found out it is not being recognised because the PS4 does not recognise external Hubs, which this is. I’m now using it on an XBox and it works perfectly, if a little noisy at times. For the size of the games being made now, it’s an excellent buy for the XBox but not for the PS4 unfortunately. Hopefully an update might sort this but I’m not holding my breath.

Not one for writing reviews but this product is not worth £150 the quality just isnt there compared to the xbox elite controller the analog sticks have no tension in them at all so they are super sensitive even to sensitive the button have dead zones so u have to sometimes press the buttons twice to get a response overall very dissappointing not to mention the giant dongle needed to use it wireless.

Pros– comfortable grip with medium sized hands- weight and control customisation are worth getting it for, like an elite controller only more comfier- cable very long so you can play it from across the room- button customisation, challenging at first but very easy to play withCons- the Price, wait for drop ( tho you get a warranty for 2 years)- No inbuilt speaker, but only horror games are needed for it- nothing else I’ve been playing with it for 8 hrs for the past week, and I’m having a blast

I wish I had found the discussion dealing on the Logitech support forum to a serious design flaw before I ordered this wheel. An issue only apparent on the G29 is the cable used to connect the board in the main housing to the wheel. The grade of the cable by design is too thin and over time (sometimes sooner rather than later) due to the 900 degrees of rotation of the wheel – this cable will wear out and the copper wiring will break causing the buttons to engage when rotating the wheel when force feedback kicks in. The result is sometimes other options suddenly engaging while racing/driving etc depending on the button assignments on the wheel. If you can imagine on an online race this can be very frustrating when you suddenly loose control because the handbrake is engaged or the camera view changes. Logitech have no official statement about the issue it seems but there is an excellent forum that shows you exactly what you need to replace: community(dot)logitech(dot)com/s/question/0D531000051059RCAQ Also it may pay to order this from Ebay: JST 2.0 PH 7-Pin Female Connector with Wire ^ I’m waiting for mine to arrive from Hong Kong so be prepared to pay for import tax if you live in Europe etc. Other than this, I love the wheel and once I get the better cables and replace the faulty ones this will be a solid gaming device well worth the money. Definitely recommend getting the H shifter when you get this to complete the immersion!

Decided to buy one after my thrustmaster t300 broken few times. G29 has stronger ffb and not overheating after few laps like t300 and does not reducing ffb strength. But g29 clipping because of its helical gearing and it feels not realistic at all. To remove clipping you need to reduce ffb strength almost to zero and at the end you have weaker ffb than t300 🙁 Much better pedals than stock t300 and included shifter, all together (3 pedals shifter and the wheel)cost much less than t300 with only 2 pedals without shifter. Tried asseto corsa and gt sport. I don’t like how it feels with asseto corsa but it’s not to bad with gt sport. T300 any game run perfectly! But I hate overheating and repairs after every couple months (burned power supply, calibration at start up problems, and finally stopping gearing, wheel rotation now stops not at 1080′ but around 1200′ wich cause not possible calibration) 🙁
