Logitech after investigation confirmed that my headset was faulty and has to be replaced. But guess what ?They’ve asked me to first DESTROY IT before APPROVING !!! Without any certainty that they would approve !!!It took like 2 weeks, ~ 10 emails, 8 photos, 2 videos and ~ 3 hours of wasted time (so I’ve wasted around £240 already !!!!)One of their emails:Thank you for your reply and advised that you don’t want to make another video showing that you have permanently disabled the product. We understand your frustration about the process. Please be advised that in order for us to process a replacement to your defective one, you need to satisfy our approval team certain requirements that you need to provide in order for them to validate and approve such replacement. Without these requirements, our approval team would certainly reject the request as you cannot satisy any of the highly important requirement which is the video showing the proof of destruction.WIth that said, we are unable to assist you and continue further, thus we are going to close this case as solved. If you decide to submit another video showing that you have destroyed the product, kindly reply with the video attached, you may also upload the video in a secured site and provide us the link so we can validate. Once we received your video showing Proof Destruction together with the printed serial number on it along with your handwritten case number written on white paper, then we will evaluate and update you on your case within 24-48 hours.———————–What was wrong ?- Battery life was a mixed bag (without leds)- All settings were resetting every now and then- Connecting issues (the headphones weren’t turning on, I was able to flip the switch and nothing would happen, not sure if software/hardware but very annoying)Otherwise very comfortable, quality of a sound far from i.e. SONY wireless headphones, but overall comfortable to play games. (not so to listen the music due to very short battery life (i.e. 5-6 hours vs 35-40hours on SONY).

As someone who’s been using the g930 then g933 for the past few years, I cannot recommended DTS 2.0 in this headset (the only option) over the past versions which have Dolby Surround Sound 7.1. It just sounds.. off to me and I have a MUCH harder time locating enemies with DTS 2.0. Logitech probably didn’t want to keep paying for the licensing rights. The music sounds good, but that’s not what you’re buying this headset for. Also after using this headset for a couple days, I’ve felt the premium leatherette (although comfortable) holds more heat and might cause more sweat than the G933 sports mesh that has breathable fabric.I was excited for an upgrade but the removal of Dolby Surround Sound 7.1 is a deal breaker for me, I’ve returned this headset.
