I love the iPad Pro. The performance is excellent and the screen is very good. Excellent for artists (other members of my family, rather than me) and a very portable computer. It probably won’t completely replace a laptop, but I have hardly used my computer since I got the iPad. It is very expensive. I obviously knew this when I bought it, but I bought the keyboard and pencil as well – it soon adds up. If you can afford it, I would thoroughly recommend.

This tablet has an amazing screen with very responsive touch controls. The speakers are amazing for the size of the tablet. Perfect for drawing with if you have the Apple pencil and worth the money. And will only get better when the new operating system is released.

In some ways this is amazing :⭐️ Face ID is much better than iPhone X series! (Portrait and landscape!)⭐️ Getting to home screen requires a long swipe up — an onerous gesture compared to what used to be a single button press.⭐️ I often CANNOT go to home 🏠 screen with swipe up — it goes to app switcher instead 😩 (But switching apps is easy – it’s just a short swipe up.) [Edit: problem solved, comment if you want the answer].·:*¨*:·.·:*¨*:·.·:*¨*:·.·:*¨*:·.·:*¨*:·.·:*¨*:·.·:*¨*:·.·:*¨*:·.·:*¨*:·.SO WIDE======• But harder to type as keyboard (and screen) is wider [compared to my previous 9.7inch iPad pro] [I’ll probably get used to it]• Messages.app actually looks silly/ugly now because it’s so wide!! [There’s a reason why newspapers use columns!]• I thought it was amazing at first but I now don’t like it. (I wish the tablet was smaller and lighter tbh.)• I wondered iPad Pro 11inch would be too small; I actually think it might be too big!!• The screen is gorgeous 😍!• Safari looks amazing!🚫 Images in Photos app are now cropped-to-fill when in landscape. (I suppose necessary due to brand new aspect ratio..).·:*¨*:·.·:*¨*:·.·:*¨*:·.·:*¨*:·.·:*¨*:·.·:*¨*:·.·:*¨*:·.·:*¨*:·.·:*¨*:·.FaceID=====⭐️ Much better than on iPhone X series — massive improvement⚡️It’s crazy fast on this iPad ⚡️• When my face is in right position it unlocks instantly🌟 it now seems to work at a greater viewing angle (compared to iPhone X) 🌟 : you don’t even have to be right in front of the iPad , you can be off to the side a little bit.(On the iPhone X series your face can’t be sideways or upside down.)• Doesn’t work when I’m scratching my face 😩• Very often I get “camera covered” message [minor annoyance] [whereas Touch ID always worked]• Not as flawless as Touch ID, but it can sometimes feel more delightful• But often it’s like magic! (Love that notifications are now private to just me 😍).·:*¨*:·.·:*¨*:·.·:*¨*:·.·:*¨*:·.·:*¨*:·.·:*¨*:·.·:*¨*:·.·:*¨*:·.·:*¨*:·.⭐️ I like that you can stand it up against a wall while it charges now due to its boxy shape (like the iPhone 5).·:*¨*:·.·:*¨*:·.·:*¨*:·.·:*¨*:·.·:*¨*:·.·:*¨*:·.·:*¨*:·.·:*¨*:·.·:*¨*:·.📅 UPDATE AFTER 5 DAYS===================I do still miss the home button with Touch ID.That worked for me 99% of the time, whereas Face ID is more like 85% (so it’s pretty good, but it USED to be perfect)I think I will return this for a refund and instead get last years 10.5inch iPad Pro. It’s much better value 🤔. [Especially as it’s £529 on the refurb store — £200 cheaper than this!!]THIN IS BAD=========🚨 This is fragile – will break if dropped from waist height onto a hard floor.🚨 The metal ripples and the glass smashes.DEAR APPLE=========We value durability over slimness!HUGE BUMP=========• The camera bump is HUGE 😩• It seems silly for Apple (Phil Schiller) to brag about thickness when it feels like there’s a Pound coin stuck to one corner.SOUND======🔈The sound over speakers is okay at low volume.I don’t like the lack of bass 🤔• Remember you now need to buy a dongle to use wired headphones 😡 [yes AirPods are excellent, but sometimes you need wired].·:*¨*:·.·:*¨*:·.·:*¨*:·.·:*¨*:·.·:*¨*:·.·:*¨*:·.·:*¨*:·.·:*¨*:·.·:*¨*:·.📅 UPDATE: 2 WEEKS LATER======================On reflection, maybe I will keep this — the screen is lush and it’s really powerful.I’ve got a decent case for it now, and will be very careful.📅 UPDATE AFTER 3 WEEKS=====================I think I will keep this. (I actually still can get a refund due to Apple’s generous Christmas delivery window.)📅 UPDATE AFTER 4 WEEKS=====================Okay I’ve really warmed to this device.I’m keeping it..·:*¨*:·.·:*¨*:·.·:*¨*:·.·:*¨*:·.·:*¨*:·.·:*¨*:·.·:*¨*:·.·:*¨*:·.·:*¨*:·.Tl;dr – I hated it for a couple of weeks. I am now very comfortable be happy with it; I’m glad I forced myself to keep using it.

The item has arrived without the pencil. The listing clearly stated it should have one and shows it throughout the details.
