I’ve not long gotten hard flooring in my living room and dining room, so combined with the bathroom and kitchen I have plenty of floors to keep clean. I’ve been using a mop so was pleased to give this cleaner a go!Set up was quite straight forward, you slot the handle into the main unit with a click. There’s a black stand that the cleaner goes onto in order to keep it upright. Plug it in to charge and a bright green light lets you know how much charge remains. You slot the two rollers in which are colour coded so you know which side it belongs to. You receive a mini trial bottle of karcher detergent. You only need a small amount so should be good for 2-3 uses.I was surprised by how heavy the cleaner is especially when you have filled the water tank up. However, once it’s on the rollers spin and the cleaner moves easily. I was also surprised by the noise it makes once I switched it on, it wasn’t what I was expecting and is a little louder than expected.Cleaning my floors was easy and I could go right up the the edges. It claims the floors will be dry within 2minutes but that definitely isn’t the case with me, however they do dry slot quicker compared to using a mop! The cleaner sucks the dirty water off the rollers and it goes into a waste bucket which you need to remember to empty before you top the water tank up. I was surprised by how dirty the water was after cleaning my floor so I’m going to be using this more regularly!Overall I am impressed and am pleased at how clean my floors are after using this cleaner, without the excessive water and drying times I experience when using a mop and bucket.

This is a really impressive unit. The rollers spin automatically, effectively pulling forwards, and this makes it very easy to push. The head is also flexible and manoeuvres nicely around obstacles. It also gets right into the edges, which is perfect for going under radiators and getting up dust. As indicated it’s not intended to deliver full vacuum performance and only picks up small debris, but having any pick-up ability at all on a wet cleaner is impressive, and the end result is a gleaming clean (and great smelling) floor. The base unit provides a nice holder when charging and not in use. While it benefits from being cordless in terms of freedom, the battery is on the stingy side. I’ve been getting slightly more than the stated 20 minutes, but with four large hardwood rooms it’s pushing it, and does necessitate a full charge after every session. Also the bundled detergent is comically small and needs replacement or an alternative after the first couple of sessions. Neither are particular deal-breakers, but be aware if you’re buying for a larger house.Overall this is an efficient hard floor option that offers a more hygienic clean than a normal vacuum, and represents a good choice for any household with multiple hard floors. As per the headline of this review, it’s effectively a mop-like performance with the added benefit of some vacuuming in the process, and has been a very helpful addition to my cleaning routine.

Very disappointed with Custer service as they did not send a user manual with the purchased item, and have ignored my requests to send.a paper copy. The machine itself is good but only hoovers crumbs so you need to hoover the floor first. The rollers do not stay connected and keep falling off as the machine is moving. Need to keep refilling the cleaning fluid as it only does one room at a time. Drys the floor well though and floor appears much cleaner without the need to use a mop and bucket.

I was swayed to purchase this from a friend and I am not disappointed. I’ve tried every manual mop and given up – they break and do not clean efficiently – really hard work to be honest rinsing out and reapplying more cleaning product. Frustrated with the old laborious methods I bit the bullet and got this Karcher. WOW – what a difference, you have a clean product rinse container at the front and the dirty collecting one at the rear. So you don’t have to keep squeezing and changing mid flow of cleaning. Yes the dirty container does fill up and this must be emptied immediately but I have a large 4 bed house and it almost cleans the whole of my downstairs without an “empty” break. It’s fun to use as it motors along with easy so no hard pushing. For stubborn marks just keep it in one place and let the rotating rollers do the work. Lovely shine on my floors after use as it appears to buff also. Yes it does take approx. 3 minutes to set up but there’s no stopping then and again I say its so much fun to use and the result – beautifully clean shiny floors.
