Seems to be a good choice for gamers. Good looking monitor, plenty of options to adjust the picture quality to your taste. Comes with 3 different type of cables to connect it to your pc. Cons: The speakers are useless

Received as a gift and wanted to share my experience. This monitor replaced my BenQ DL2215, a monitor I had for over 2 years. It’s packaged well and comes with all the cables you would ever need.Easy to assemble and good build quality. Speakers aren’t great but you shouldn’t expect fantastic ones from a monitor like this one. Driver installation was a bit of a hassle since I don’t have a disc reader on my PC and I didn’t know how to install the driver from online (since it didn’t tell me how to) but I eventually handled it. Before installing the driver, however, there was some odd motion blur in videos but that stopped afterwards.Gaming with it is great. While there is only a tiny noticeable improvement from 60 to 75hz, there is an improvement. One of my main qualms with it is that the monitor is described as having 1ms, which I sincerely doubt is true. From typical use and from tests, I can tell it’s much lower than that. You can try and improve it use the Overdrive feature but that is only minor and causes ghosting. The part I’m most upset with about this monitor is the colour reproduction. My previous monitor was a TN, much like this one, but I didn’t know just how bad colour reproduction in TN monitors was until getting this monitor. There is severe colour banding (grouping of colours) especially in dark areas. This really ruins it for me. It can be fixed a bit by lowering Shadow Control from 50 to 40 in some cases but this can be a hassle and isn’t very efficient. This might also be because it’s a 27″ monitor with 1080p so the pixels are rather large. This is less noticeable in gaming, which is fine since it is a gaming monitor.I find this a very average monitor, with low response time, bad colour reproduction and bad speakers so its not the best for gaming but also not the best for movies or music. Where this does shine is its price. If you’re looking for a high-end gaming experience, you’ve come to the wrong place. This is fine for most of your PC gaming needs but not top-end gaming with incredible response time and refresh rate. If you’re looking to watch movies or listen to music in the highest of quality, buy an IPS monitor and some actual speakers. But if you’re looking for a budget gaming experience, here you go.

Recently was just bought this as a surprise gift on my birthday from my Girlfriend and all I have to say about it is that it’s awesome! Coming with all the cables you need, including an Aux cable and HDMI, I have had a fantastic experience playing games such as BF1, DayZ and GTA5, all on ultra settings with excellent contrast and colouring. I know 75hz isn’t a big step from my previous 60hz monitor, but I feel I can seriously tell when I join largely populated servers whilst gaming; Screen tearing is at a minimal. For anyone who would like to upgrade monitors but can afford a 1440p, 4K, 144hz montior, then I highly recommend this one.
