Samsung RS8000 RS68N8320S9 Review

A Fridge-Freezer that 2 doors, that’s Fridge goals right? This American designed product by Samsung certainly looks the part, with some handy features that impress us. If you’ve got the space for a large 2-door Refrigerator, then this Samsung RS8000 should be at the top of your wishlist.

Large Capacity

It’s no surprise this has large capacity, you would expect an American style refrigerator to have this as a minimum. However, the RS8000 series goes one stage further, offering a whopping 617 Litres of storage space. This is achieved with their latest Refrigeration technology – Labelled as SpaceMax Technology. Sounds cool! 

What is SpaceMax Technology? Is it actually useful, or a re-labelled term? Well, SpaceMax technology is Samsung’s answer to increasing Refrigeration size without having to physically increase the size of the product. It’s not a new term though, it’s re-invented from their previous range ‘Guggenheim’, where the Fridge walls were made thinner, to increase storage space. This time, Samsung have been smarter with their insulation of the RS8000. They’ve improved the quality of the insulation, making it thinner & leaving more room for your dairy products. Even moreso amazingly, the Samsung RS8000 Series have better efficiency levels with less insulation.

Twin Cooling Plus Technology

Samsung have bold claims with this one, their new technology can ensure food stays moist & stay fresh for upto twice as long. This is achieved by Optimising temperature inside of the fridge by monitoring it’s own cooling systems. This will also help to prevent any odours & should stop any flavour transfer. No more Yoghurts tasting like Onions….

This Fridge does look really neat. The Sleek edges allow it to add a stylish touch to your kitchen. In addition to this, you can enjoy Water & Ice from a dispenser, without the requirement to plumb your fridge in. It uses a Touch Control panel which allows you to choose between the Water & Ice. This will be good at parties!

You will also receive a 5 year Warranty on Parts & Labour, which makes this seem like a great purchase overall.
